R&D Headquarters

Set within a landscaped garden in the prestigious Shantigram development in Ahmedabad’s UNESCO World Heritage city, this 10-storey emblematic research and development building creates a new company headquarters.

Layered planted terraces connected to the office floors offer shaded outdoor space, framed views, passive cooling and cascading greenery across the façade – which enhances wellbeing. Deep brise-soleil fins on the facades also provide passive solar shading.

At ground level, a dramatic double-height entrance becomes a cooled temperate garden, top-lit by an oculus and animated by a processional stair linking reception to the mezzanine meeting rooms.

The building combines laboratory space with seven further office floors, and tenant amenities including a gym and café.
