The new-build housing development forms part of a wider regeneration project for East London and provides a mixture of market and affordable tenure apartments with some complementary non-residential uses.
As Associate Anil oversaw the RIBA National Award winning Welding Institute scheme in Cambridge. Formed of three interconnected buildings, it provides R+D Laboratories, testing facilities and office space as well as a new post graduate education facility with conference facilities, a lecture theatre, restaurant and café spaces. In his role as Project Lead for the Chelsea Barracks Phase 4 Shell and Core works, Anil oversaw the successful delivery of the scheme, which achieved practical completion in December 2021. The scheme for Qatari Diar consists of three high-end residential buildings arranged around a private courtyard with a large public square located at the heart of the Chelsea Barracks development. Below ground accommodation includes car parking, plant space and residents’ amenities incorporating a Bath & Racquet club with a 25m pool and tennis court.
