Jin studied Chemical Engineering at Imperial College in London and trained as a chartered accountant at PricewaterhouseCoopers. She worked as Operations and Finance Director for a family-run healthcare wholesale-retail business for 13 years before joining Eric Parry Architects in 2006. She was appointed Finance Director in 2014.
Jin works with the project directors to manage the financial and legal aspects of their work. This entails overseeing legal matters (such as commercial and employment contracts), fee proposals, cashflow monitoring and resource allocation. She oversees all financial controls and is responsible for budgets and financial planning. In addition, she works on new business opportunities and advises the Board of Directors on financial, statutory and business matters.
In 2013 Jin helped establish Eric Parry Studio in Singapore and has been managing their legal and financial affairs. The office has successfully overseen and attracted new work in the Far East.
